Our Board of Directors

Indi is a certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and a founder of Valley Orthotics and Prosthetics. For 20 years, he’s been honored to help people regain their mobility and confidence through the art and science of prosthetic care. He sees his work not just as a career, but as a calling—and proudly describes his craft as the second love of his life.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him on his hobby farm with his wife and four kids, enjoying the hands-on work, laughter, and everyday adventures that come with family life. Beyond home, he’s passionate about serving people with disabilities overseas, bringing care and hope to some of the world’s most vulnerable and overlooked communities.

For Indi, every patient interaction is a reminder that prosthetic care is about far more than technology—it’s about connection, compassion, and helping people move forward with strength and dignity.

Brittany Dyer, DPT is a board member of Therapy and Beyond and a licensed physical
therapist with over 15 years of experience serving patients in and around the Shenandoah
Valley. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from West Virginia University in
2008 and has dedicated her career to helping individuals stay active and engaged in their
daily lives.
Brittany is passionate about empowering people to live their best lives through movement,
education, and community support. She especially values the group programs at Therapy
and Beyond because they provide ongoing services, foster connection, and allow her to
support a greater number of individuals in a meaningful, community-based setting. In her
spare time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running, and
painting.

Chris Gingrich is Professor Emeritus of Economics at Eastern Mennonite University, where he served on faculty for 24 years. Since he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2006, he has focused on exercise as a means to slow down the disease’s progression. He enjoys biking, reading, and good conversation.
